My Type of Lymphoma

I was diagnosed with stage 2 Nodular Sclerosis classical Hodgkins Lymphoma. There are 2 main types of Hodgkins Lymphoma, Classical and Nodular Lymphocyte predominant Hodgkins Lymphoma (NLPHL). Classical and NLPHL are treated differently from each other.

Nodular Sclerosis Classical Hodgkins Lymphoma is the most common Hodgkins Lymphoma in developed countries and begins in the lymph nodes in abnormal B lymphocytes. The abnormal lymphocytes in NSHL are known as Reed Sternberg Cells. They look like owl faces under a microscope. It appears most commonly between 15 and 35 but can effect all ages.
